Meet the Nominees of the AfrICAN Children of the Year Awards 2018

Something WOW unfolded in Bramley-Johannesburg on Saturday the 6th of October when 11-year-old multiple award-winning author, BrandSA Ambassador, and Philanthropist, Stacey Fru hosted children ages 7-13, alongside their friends and families at a high tea. The High Tea, leads up to the AfrICAN Children of the Year Awards 2018 scheduled to take place in Johannesburg on the 3rd of November, to celebrate National Children’s Day.

This one of its kind Awards Ceremony ever is meant to introduce, cheer and coach nominees from the following categories; Entrepreneurship, Arts and Culture, Education, Philanthropist, Leadership, Community Development/Engagement, Motivational/personal Development, Technology and Sports, Safety and Security, Special Mention. There will also be a Great Achiever Award to a child who has made a significant contribution to African Children’s legacy. Stacey says; “I am looking forward to November 3rd because it is also National Children’s Day. This means that, it will be a BIG celebration and an exciting day for all”. Stacey calls on all to join her to cheer the nominees.

Through her foundation, the Stacey Fru Foundation, Stacey calls on Children, Schools and Learning Institutions, Churches, Coaches, Parents, Caregivers, Guardians, Relatives, Friends, Well-Wishers and Businesses to sponsor and/or partner with this annual event to make these children feel honoured.
