Children, Schools and Learning Institutions, Churches, Coaches, Parents, Caregivers, Guardians, Relatives, Friends, Well-Wishers and Businesses are urged to enter for one or more categories. All submissions will be subject to adjudication by an expert panel of judges who are currently being appointed and who will be announced soon.
The Awards, will be presented by 11 year old Stacey Fru. The Awards Ceremony recognise the work that she has been doing since she was 7 years old, that has continued to motivate and inspire adults and children alike.
Look out to be blown away when the crème de la crème of African children is paraded during the prestigious awards ceremony which will take place in Johannesburg on the afternoon of the 3rd of November 2018.
The ACYA will recognise and honour the spirit of creativity and innovation, acknowledge the following categories; Arts and Culture, Education, Philanthropist, Leadership, Community Development/Engagement, Motivational/personal Development, Technology, Sports, Safety and Security, Special Mention. There will also be a Great Achiever Award to a child who has made a significant contribution to the African Children’s Legacy.
