9-year-old author, Stacey Fru calls on Givers to Support the less privileged
Stacey decided to write a special article for you this month-end weekend. Enjoy the read …
Nothing in life nurtures itself. I was interviewed on Jozi FM by auntie Zama. When we went to the station, all I thought of was the interview. But as we walked out of the Radio Station, an uncle approached my mother. He was listening to me while I spoke on the radio. He said that he would like me to give a motivational talk at an event. Because he said that it was at an orphanage, my mother said YES! before asking questions.
So tomorrow the 29th of October, I will be giving a talk at Carl Sithole Children’s Centre in Soweto during their 2016 Fun Day. Thank you Jozi FM for giving me free time to talk on air. Because you gave me free time, I gained the opportunity to also give others my time. I love the ability to give. For this reason, I will like to call on anyone to donate help in form of money, goods and even their time to the innocent children of this beautiful home because they are always in need. Some children are really not lucky.
Come to the venue tomorrow in your numbers. I am looking forward to inspire the children and the adults as well. I really appreciate the opportunity.
