A day after assuming the chairmanship of the African Union, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdelfattah El-Sisi Awarded Stacey Fru with her first International Award in March 2019 in Aswan, Egypt.
Stacey was the youngest of 12 Promising Youths from Arab and Africa who were awarded during the Arab Africa Youth Platform 2019; a World Youth Forum initiative; first of its kind hosted under the auspices of the President in Egypt.
Stacey is recognised for her laudable effort in working towards inspiring many, for being a Bestselling Multiple Award-Winning Child Author of 3 books, a Philanthropist, Activist and a Public Speaker. Through her foundation, Stacey gives to underprivileged and inaccessible children in forms of books, clothing, computers, foods, learning sessions, etc. Stacey is also the Custodian of the first ever AfrICAN Children of the Year Awards hosted every 1st Saturday of November in Johannesburg. Among her many educational projects, Stacey uses her online television channel, @CTVSA to educate children and adults alike about the African continent and the world.
